Grand Valley State University - LipDub 2010

Grand Valley State University's lip dub is one of the best we've seen ever. It's got 29000 views in a single day beating all records. Do not miss this lip dub, it's awesome.

At last one more "First Class" lip dub, most of Lip dubs are good but this one is great. It has a place at youtube and we have already set its soundtrack as a ringtone in our mobile phones.

It seems they had it all planned out, even people who pass through screen sides. Camera moves so fast but without losing its stability, we do not know how they did.

We loves everything. Lip dub begins like a film with an actor and a piano on the street, from this moment everything seems casual but it has been widely design.

We would like to emphasize: the scuba diver in the water fountain, the girl singing with the signs language, the gospel choir, umbrellas under the bridge with paper rain , the rock band, and the finale, making the logo with umbrellas while a canoe crosses the scene. They blew the other college lipdubs out of the water.

We could think James Cameron has directed it but in fact Greg Kort and Chris Coleman did. We can't forget the great song "Come Sail Away" by Styx.

Guys, you did it great, congrats. You are the best!

The Backstage

Here is a video where we can see how the Lip Dub was made and the small car where the steady was mounted on.

Lipdub - the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Students, staff and lecturers at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem chose a unique way to kick off the new academic year with a 'lip-dub' of the Queen song 'Somebody to Love' from the hit-series 'Glee'. Good job guys but not brilliant

People from Hebrew University of Jerusalem have made a good job.

Technically, the stability and image quality are very good, lighting is awesome and it's filmed in a single shot, it is how Hebrew University students kicked off the start of the school year.

We like the song, glee version is great, main characters move as if they were dancing with a great synchronization. Freddy Mercury is the most surprising thing of the whole video.

The negative part is, always there is one, lip dub has not much imagination, needs more colored clothes or disguises and it doesn't have anything special.

This lip dub is good but far from being a masterpiece.(6 over 10)

Lip Dub - Maastricht University - SBE 2010

This Lip dub  was made by students and teachers from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics. It was recorded on June 21st.

We don't think the SBE could find a better viral than this one, but we have watched it seven times to find out this lip dub success’ secret, but we haven’t found.

It’s pretty nice and quite well done, but the most original we found was the ride through Maastricht’s streets but nothing else remarkable and/or funny.

But despite what we think, people are free and set this video (with 20000 views in 5 days) among most watched on YouTube. Our big respect and props to creators, executors and supporters.

Our sincere congrats.

LIPDUB // Five - Keep On Movin' (U. Pacífico)

Here’s a traditional lipdub and one of the first lipdub from Chile. Filmed by Joaquín Molina, they present us their University.

About 40 students present their University with music and lipdub. After a nice beggining, the lipdub takes place in a conventional way from one scene to another and from one place to another. The lipping is good and the camera move is smooth. Without the presence of any original scene, we found it quite simple. We hope it will inspire others to do lipdubs in Chile. ;)

More information about Chile

Chile is the country of contrast and great beauty. It is the longest and narrowest country in the continent.

North: Lies the Atacama Desert, the driest of the world.

At 3.790 km. from the continent is "Isla de Pascua" (Easter Island), with a unique culture and archaeological heritage.

South: Lakes, wild rivers, volcanos and native forest allows a close contact with nature. And the Chiloe island, considered as a paradise of the world, is home of a friendly people, creator of fantastic myths.
In the Patagonia, fiords and icy fields receive genuine spirit adventures and in the Antarctic, you can discover the magic of life in a surrounding of everlasting ices.
